Chris Thyer

Chris has recently joined Bidwells after a decade of building the Energy department within GSC Grays. He has spent his career working in the energy industry identifying, promoting, and developing projects for landowners and developers alike. His enthusiasm for new technologies and being at the cutting edge of new opportunities for his clients, provides knowledge and insight across all renewables including wind, solar and battery projects to bespoke technologies including hydrogen, anaerobic digestion, micro nuclear, synchronous condensers and solar powered EV charging. 

As a RICS Chartered Surveyor and Agricultural Valuer, Chris's agricultural expertise is invaluable to help maintain landowner relationships and to manage environmental obligations such as biodiversity net gain, conservation covenants or the interaction between an energy development and farming. He loves a challenge and particularly enjoys managing complex multi-landowner projects, balancing the interests of landowners with the needs of developers to create positive long-term partnerships
