Visitors to this year’s Farm Innovation Show will have the benefit of ecological, rural retail, planning and land-use expertise courtesy of the team at Harris Lamb and Malcolm Scott.
Established in 1992, Harris Lamb provides first class commercial property advice to developers, investors, occupiers, property funds and public sector organisations, and planning advice, planning application and development support and ecological services for commercial, residential and renewable development.
The business expanded in 2015 with the acquisition rural business specialists Malcolm Scott, an established rural planning consultancy with 30 years’ experience. The past five years have seen the Malcolm Scott team enhance its service offering to provide detailed strategic planning expertise to the garden centre, farm shop and farm park sector.
The businesses will be offering extensive insight to landowners on Biodiversity Net Gain, Renewable Energy and rural exception sites – the provision of land to site affordable housing in the countryside – to maximise the potential of their land, as well as offering case studies and guidance on how to grow tourism and retail opportunities at established rural sites.
