BLC Energy is a renewable energy development company specialising in developing solar PV projects across the UK.

We work with landowners to develop solar farms of all sizes - from 20MW to nationally-significant scale. 

We are a small, specialist team: the people you meet today will work with you throughout the process. 

We are funded by one of Octopus Energy’s funds, theOctopus Renewable Infrastructurement Trust (ORIT), and work closely with the Octopus Energy team to develop renewable energy projects that will help the U.K. achieve its’ Net Zero targets. BLC Energy and ORIT develop projects through a dedicated development platform, TRIO Power Ltd.
